Subsea contract awarded to TechnipFMC by Dubai Petroleum in Offshore Dubai

TechnipFMC was awarded a subsea contract by Dubai Petroleum Establishment for the Rashid-D project, located 90KM offshore Dubai, the United Arab Emirates at a water depth of approximately 32 meters.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a 900-ton wellhead deck, its associated jacket, subsea pipelines, and a composite power cable. This project will mobilise TechnipFMC’s flagship Derrick and S-Lay installation vessel, the G1201, designed for deep and shallow water work.

TechnipFMC Subsea Middle East Business Unit will execute the contract with support from Thailand operating centre. The contract is slated for completion end of 2018.
